Maize Seeds
CF Forage understands the importance of growing an outstanding crop of maize and appreciates the difficulty faced when trying to select the right variety for your individual farm and feed requirements.
We aim to offer a range of varieties, some having very high starch levels and feed value, some producing extremely high dry matter yields, whilst other offer a combination of these different attributes.
The maturity class of the variety is a fundamental decision and points to consider when choosing your variety maturity class include:
- Target harvest date
- Expected drilling date
- Altitude and topography of the field
- Soil type
- Annual rainfall
- Location in the country
