The New MLT627T Evolution

Manitou UK Limited is pleased to present the new MLT627T ‘Evolution’ series. Ideal for working in all farming applications where space is at a premium, particularly for accessing narrow feed passages and traditional farm buildings.  The key features are a spacious modern cab for greater operator comfort and the new JSM joystick control for precision and total flexibility of all hydraulic functions combined with a forward/reverse selector providing the driver with the ability to change direction of the Manitou MLT627T without the driver taking their hands off the steering wheel.

This enhancement brings the new MLT627T ‘Evolution’ in line with the full MLT ‘Evolution’ range of telehandlers and represents a significant product development from the previous MLT627T models, the new cab includes better sound insulation and a new design instrument panel which includes a new air inlet under the steering wheel, a new built-in clock, a speedometer with rev counter, 2 speed windscreen wiper, automatic indicator cancellation, a coat hook, a package net behind the seat, a new pedal design, and a new steering column adjustment control.

An adjustable armrest allows for a comfortable position to be adopted for the operator’s hand when deploying the JSM Joystick Control (JSM) which has been ergonomically designed with a grip pad for the palm of the hand to facilitate easier usage of the JSM control for fully proportional and precise hydraulic functions.

The MLT627T ‘Evolution’ is powered by the latest Tier 3 Perkins Diesel Engine and a new dual stage hydraulic pump is fitted thereby generating less engine loading at low idle speed and reducing heat within the hydraulic system.

In conclusion, the MLT627T features the latest technology combined with a simplicity of design and provides maximum capacity of 2700kg to a lift height of up to 5m55, a forward reach of 3m20 (24” tyre model), an overall width of 2m00 (20”) and 2m16 (24”) and a torque convertor transmission for impressive traction and drive performance. With high power to weight ratio, stability, draw bar pull and break out force the MLT627 Evolution offers high productivity and efficiency for today’s modern farmer.
